Where is Ben Nelson?
Last year, during Congress’ month long summer recess Sen. Ben Nelson refused to hold public town hall events and Nebraskans were denied an opportunity to get straight answers from our Senator.
Politicians need to remember they work for us.
We held Sen. Nelson accountable for his lack of transparency last year and we will do it again if Ben Nelson does not hold town hall meetings this summer recess.

With the economy still reeling, health care legislation being questioned by state leaders like Gov. Heineman and record government spending and burgeoning debt, Nebraskans deserve to have their voices heard at public town hall events.

Nelson’s vote in the Senate will be important. We need our Senator to represent Nebraska’s interests and the best way to do that is to actually meet with Nebraskans.
