AFP Launches Ad Holding Omaha Mayor Suttle Accountable
We are frustrated with Mayor Suttle’s blatant disrespect for Omaha’s taxpayers and hiding massive $25,000 raises for his personal staff in the city budget.
Now Jim Suttle is attacking members of the City Council and taxpayers for demanding transparency in the budget process.
AFP will hold Mayor Suttle accountable.

Then be sure to take action.
We are asking you to do two things:
1) Call the City Council and tell them you demand more transparency in the City budget at (402) 444-5000.
2) Attend the public hearing on the City budget on Tuesday, August 14th at 2:00pm at the City-County building downtown. For address details click here.
Mayor Suttle defended these massive raises by arguing his staff worked ‘extraordinarily’ hard and should be ‘rewarded’ with a raise.
Tell Mayor Suttle there are thousands of Omahans working in the private sector who work extremely hard, pay their taxes and equally contribute to this community who are not receiving 20% pay increases.
Omahans are paying higher property taxes, the Suttle Tax on food and beverages and the list goes on. And for what? So the Mayor can give huge raises to his staff.
Join us at the City budget hearing on Tuesday, August 14th at 2:00pm and demand Mayor Suttle quit taking from taxpayers to benefit a select few.
