Taxpayer Victory in Bellevue: Local Sales Tax Increase Defeated

Last month AFP-Nebraska came out strong against the sales tax increase in Bellevue.  We pointed out just how damaging this increase would be to Bellevue families and small businesses.

Bellevue residents agreed.

Soundly rejecting the proposal, Bellevue said NO to bigger government, more taxes and more government spending.

Local voters rejected an extra $100 per year annual tax increase.  We are proud local AFP activists and the community worked hard and rejected efforts to increase an already difficult local tax burden.
