Stand Up for Energy Independence

August 17, 2012

Join us this Friday morning as we join with the American Energy Alliance and deliver the message of affordable, reliable energy—and the importance of free markets, less taxes, and less burdensome regulations—as AEA’s national bus tour visits Omaha.

American Energy Alliance Tour Stop,

Featuring Congressman Lee Terry and State Senator Jim Smith

9:30am Friday, August 17th

Laborers Local #1140 – 5626 Sorensen Pkwy Omaha, NE 68152

America’s domestic refining and petrochemical businesses play a crucial role in our nation’s economy.  They employ nearly 2 million people and manufacture products that literally make modern life possible.  In addition to transportation fuels, these products include the building blocks for thousands of consumer products, such as plastics, medicines, appliances and safety equipment.

We can grow our economy and create good-paying jobs for Nebraskans by expanding North American energy production.

It is time to build the Keystone XL Pipeline.  Join us Friday morning to send a clear message we support energy security.  We support economic growth.  We support middle class jobs.  We support KXL!
