Don't Let President Obama Flip-Flop on Keystone XL
“Now, right now, a company called TransCanada has applied to build a new pipeline…And today, I’m directing my administration to cut through the red tape, break through the bureaucratic hurdles, and make this project a priority, to go ahead and get it done.”
That was President Obama in 2012 at a campaign rally in Cushing, Oklahoma arguing for construction of the Keystone XL pipeline.
Now the President is dragging his feet on this important project that would create thousands of new jobs and expand North American energy production.
We Need Your Help!
On April 18th the U.S. State Department will hold the last public hearing on Keystone XL in Grand Island and we need your help to make sure President Obama doesn’t flip-flop on his commitment to ‘cut the red tape.’
To attend the April 18th hearing or to learn other ways you can help contact us by email or call (402) 261-9332.
The State of Nebraska and both Secretary Clinton and Secretary Kerry’s State Department have concluded that Keystone XL is safe.
Now the project moves to President Obama to await a federal permit.
To remain faithful to his pledge of supporting new jobs and new sources of energy, we encourage President Obama to quickly approve the Keystone XL pipeline.
