Those opposing the construction of the KXL pipeline have recently turned their efforts toward county boards. Yesterday, proponents and opponents of the pipeline attended a meeting of the York County Commissioners to testify on an anti-KXL resolution.
Matt Litt, Deputy State Director of AFP-NE, represented the organization and its members in opposing the proposed resolution. You can read the story here at the York News Times. You can also watch clips of the testimonies here (AFP-NE’s clip starts at 3:56).
The resolution was tabled until July 23 and the crowd of 100 or so went home to debate the topic another day.
