Debate Begins Tomorrow on Medicaid Expansion: Take Action Here!

April 15, 2013

We need your help now!  This is not a drill.

The biggest issue in the Legislature this year is whether Nebraska should voluntarily agree to implement ObamaCare by expanding Medicaid.

The debate on LB 577, the Medicaid expansion bill begins tomorrow morning.

We need you to click here and send a note to our State Senators that you oppose Medicaid Expansion.

After you’ve sent an email, we need you to do three things.  This is that important!

1)     Click here to find your State Senator’s phone number – and give them a call!

2)     Check out our new radio ad, which went up around the state this morning

3)     Send this email to 5 friends and family – and make sure they take action!

Medicaid expansion was crucial to passage of President Obama’s health care reform back in 2010.  Originally, expansion was to be mandatory for all the states as a budget gimmick.

With more Americans enrolled in Medicaid, with states chipping in on the costs, the President could then report that ObamaCare would cost the federal government less because there would be less Americans enrolled in Obama’s signature new program.

Yet, the Supreme Court in 2012 overturned forced Medicaid expansion and gave the choice to the states.

Why Nebraska would at this time voluntarily agree to take on the cost of President Obama’s health care law and agree to implement ObamaCare is beyond understanding.

That’s why we need you to act now!

Click here and tell your state senator you oppose LB 577.  You oppose Obama’s Medicaid Expansion.
