Health Care Press Conference Today at 12 PM at Capital
New Coalition to be Announced

Helena, Mont.—Americans for Prosperity-Montana will launch the Montana Medical Free Choice Coalition (MMFCC) today on the front steps of the Capital in Helena at 12 Noon.  MMFCC, a project of Americans for Prosperity-Montana, is a statewide group of medical doctors and health care practitioners who oppose government-run health care and support market-based, patient-centered reforms.

This event will focus on exposing the perilous impact of the President’s new health care law on the quality of the practice of medicine. While exposing the fundamental flaws of government-run health care, MMFCC will also discuss the need for market-based and patient-centered reforms that can improve the quality of our health care system and competition among health insurance providers.  Lastly, AFP-Montana and the MMFCC will urge the State of Montana not to expand Medicaid, which research indicates is an increasingly costly, inefficient and ineffective health insurance program that reduces the quality of health care.
