Ding Ding Ding Goes Your Money!
St. Louis, MO – The “Trolley Song” from the classic film “Meet Me in St. Louis” holds a special place in the hearts of many St. Louisans. However we don’t love old-fashioned trollies to the tune of $35 million dollars!
Did you know the federal government is giving the Gateway City $35 million dollars to construct an “old-fashioned style-trolley system?” Sad but true!
The trolley will run between the 2.2 mile stretch between the Missouri History Museum and the U City Library. Here’s what makes it worse…this track is duplicated by the metro link and metro transit bus system.
If you are fed up of elected officials wasting our money, make your voice heard and tell Washington it’s time to reduce spending and cut the waste! Click here to sign our Get Real petition.
