“The purpose of creating a legislative report card is to provide our activists and all Missouri taxpayers with a general overview of their elected officials’ votes on key bills. AFP – Missouri is dedicated to free market policies that will improve the lives of Missouri families and businesses. Report cards shed light on who is standing up for limited government, lower taxes and regulatory freedoms and who is not,” said AFP – Missouri State Director Patrick Werner.
The score card gives an A, B, C, D, or F grade and percentage to each member of the Missouri House & Senate based on how each member voted on legislation impacting AFP-Missouri’s 2014 Path to Prosperity.
The Path to Prosperity is a long term policy plan aimed at placing Missouri on a track to greater freedoms and widespread economic prosperity. With input from our 57,000 activists, AFP-MO highlighted nine key issue areas to move Missouri off its current path and on to a Path to Prosperity. This is a long term comprehensive policy plan in which different issues will be addressed at different times.
