Support the first Missouri Tax Reduction in over 90 years

August 01, 2013

Let your elected leaders in Jefferson City know that you want to keep more of your hard-earned money. Sign AFP-Missouri’s petition urging state legislators to override Governor Jay Nixon’s veto of the first tax reduction in 92 years.

If you are disappointed in Governor Nixon’s decision to veto the first income tax reduction in 90 years, sign below to encourage an override of the Governor’s veto.

Visit our Action Center and sign our petition to urge the legislature to override the veto.

While the Missouri legislature took a step in the right direction for lower taxes and smaller government, legislative action alone cannot solve this problem. Executive leadership, in cooperation with the legislature, is needed if we intend to turn things around and get this state moving in the right direction again.

The legislature will meet on September 11th to determine whether or not they will override the Governor’s veto.  Please encourage your legislator to support lower taxes for Missouri businesses and families.

You can also join us join us for a rally at the Capitol in Jefferson City to show encourage the general assembly to override the Governor’s veto on September 11th at 12:00 p.m.
