Senator Brown Honored as Defender of Prosperity

Rolla – Senator Dan Brown graciously accepted his Americans for Prosperity – Missouri Defender of Prosperity award at Matt’s Steakhouse located at 12200 Dillon Outer Drive Rolla, at 12:00 pm on July 30th.


Upon accepting his award, Senator Brown said, “many of these votes come down to applying common sense.” Senator Brown continued to address many of the central issues facing Missourians.  He highlighted his opposition to Governor Nixon’s veto of the first Missouri tax reduction in over 90s and spoke at length about the dangers of Medicaid Expansion in Missouri.

Senator Brown received an A (100%) rating on the AFP – MO 2013 Economic Prosperity Report card based on his votes on key issues such as Medicaid Expansion, Paycheck Protection, Common Core, Agenda 21, Transportation Sales Taxes, Utility Surcharges, Prevailing Wage, Tax Reform, & Spending Caps.
