Missouri Precinct Project & AFP – Missouri Host Agenda 21/Sustainable Development Speaker

June 17, 2013

St. Louis, MO – The Missouri Precinct Project and Americans for Prosperity – Missouri recently hosted a presentation focused on the dangers of Agenda 21 and Sustainable Development to a crowd of over 150 concerned citizens.

Agenda 21 is a far reaching blueprint for national, state, and local governments to implement regulations and policies to pursue “sustainable development” across the globe. If enacted, these policies will be harmful to property rights and the American economy.

The program featured presentations by some of the leading experts in the fight against Agenda 21 and Sustainable Development such as Dr. Michael Coffman, Executive Director of Sovereignty International and Tom DeWeese, Founder and President of the American Policy Center. Both gentlemen have played key roles in educating citizens about the dangers of Agenda 21 and halting their enactment.

AFP – MO Field Director Alex McArthy added, “Many of these anti-growth policies are not being adopted unilaterally through the United Nations, but through the normal legislative process in town council meetings and in state houses across the country. As an organization, we feel obligated to assist with these programs so Missourians are educated on these very important issues.”
