AFP – MO’s Patrick Werner Appears on The Gary Nolan Show to Discuss Economic Report Card

Columbia, MO – Americans for Prosperity-Missouri State Director, Patrick Werner appeared on The Eagle 93.9 with Gary Nolan to discuss the AFP – Missouri Economic Prosperity Report Card for the 2013 Missouri legislative session.

The Missouri Economic Prosperity Report card continues to make its way throughout the state’s media outlets as a tool for Missourians to find out how their elected officials voted on key issues of economic prosperity.

Nolan and Werner discussed every facet of the score card and how the opposition of Medicaid expansion, Common Core education standards, transportations sales tax proposals, and utility surcharges are detrimental to Missourians; while paycheck protection, lifting prevailing wage requirements, and spending caps will help Missouri families and businesses.

AFP – Missouri State Director, Patrick Werner said, “The score card was based on the key issues from this session that impacted our mission of smaller government, lower taxes, and policies that produce economic freedom.  The score card gives an A, B, C, D, or F grade and percentage to each member of the Missouri House & Senate based on how each member voted on legislation impacting our 2013 legislative agenda.”

Gary Nolan, the host of the Gary Nolan Show said of the score card, “Use it as a barometer for how your elected officials are doing.”
