Perryville, MO – Americans for Prosperity-Missouri, the state’s leading advocate for fiscal responsibility and prosperity continues to earn media coverage for its Economic Prosperity Report Card for the 2013 Missouri legislative session in the Sun Times New Online.
The Missouri Economic Prosperity Report card continues to make its way throughout the state’s media outlets as a tool for Missourians to find out how their elected officials voted on key issues of economic prosperity.
The Sun Times article highlights Senator Wallingford’s B grade on the Economic Prosperity Score Card which was based on votes made in opposition to Medicaid expansion, Common Core education standards, transportation sales tax proposals, new utility surcharges, and in support of paycheck protection, the lifting of prevailing wage, and imposing spending caps.
“Senator Wallingford is an advocate for the Missouri taxpayer and his B grade is reflected in his votes, “It is important that we take the time to recognize Senator Wallingford for his support of economic freedom,” said AFP – Missouri State Director Patrick Werner.
Werner continued, “The score card was based on the key issues from this session that impacted our mission of smaller government, lower taxes, and policies that produce economic freedom. The score card gives an A, B, C, D, or F grade and percentage to each member of the Missouri House & Senate based on how each member voted on legislation impacting our 2013 legislative agenda.”
