Sedalia – Americans for Prosperity – Missouri, the state’s leading advocate for fiscal responsibility and prosperity, will honor Representative Stanley Cox as a Defender of Prosperity award at the John C. Ryan picnic on July 11 at the Liberty Park Shelter House No. 3 at 6:30 pm.
Representative Cox received an A (100%) rating on the AFP – MO 2013 Economic Prosperity Report card based on his votes on key issues such as Medicaid Expansion, Paycheck Protection, Common Core, Agenda 21, Transportation Sales Taxes, Utility Surcharges, Prevailing Wage, Tax Reform, & Spending Caps.
“Representative Cox is an advocate for the Missouri taxpayer and we look forward to honoring him with our Defender of Prosperity Award. It is important that we take the time to recognize Representative Cox for his support of economic freedom,” said AFP – Missouri State Director Patrick Werner.
“The Defender of Prosperity Award is given to Representatives and Senators who received a 100% – 90% rating on the Americans for Prosperity Economic Prosperity Report Card. The Report Card was created to provide AFP – Missouri members and taxpayers with an overview of how their elected officials voted on key bills that impact economic freedoms and liberties.
