AFP-MN: Minnesota Shouldn't Take Heat from EPA Bureaucrats
Proposed regulation will hit Minnesota budgets in tough economy, says director Cooney.
ST. PAUL – The Minnesota chapter of Americans for Prosperity came out in opposition to proposed EPA rules announced today by the Obama administration.
Minnesota State Director John Cooney had the following to say:
“Minnesota families shouldn’t have to deal with higher energy prices just because Washington bureaucrats have decided what’s best for us again. While these regulations are not expected to measurably improve the environment, Minnesotans will feel the heat in the summer if they have to decide between paying the energy bill and other important expenses. From Keystone XL to energy extraction to the EPA proposal, It’s time for the Obama administration to quit the regulatory assault and help Americans access abundant, affordable energy to power their lives.”
