Americans for Prosperity is proud to offer a set of tickets (2) to the MSU vs. UofM football game on Oct. 20 for the 2 volunteers who devote their time to making phone calls in our Freedom Phones initiative.

The contest will run from now until October 17th at 9PM.

Official Rules for the AFP-Michigan Football Phone Bank Contest

Rules for Contest: By participating in this Contest, Participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the final decision of the Contest.  Decisions by Americans for Prosperity (AFP) are binding and final in every respect.

Eligibility: Americans for Prosperity’s Michigan Football Phone Bank Contest is open to all legal U.S. residents physically residing in Michigan.  Participants must be at least the age of majority at the time of participation.  This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws.  Void where prohibited.

To participate in this Contest, Participants must obtain a unique personal identifier number (PIN), from an AFP-Michigan representative, which will be used to track their phone banking activities, and participate in the phone banking activities.  The two (2) phone banking participants, who complete during the Contest Period the most surveys, as determined by AFP in its sole discretion, will qualify for two (2) tickets to attend Michigan State vs. Michigan college football game to be held October 20, 2012.  The prize does not include transportation to or from the event or any other expenses related to using or redeeming the prize.  A maximum of two (2)  prize packages will be awarded.  The prize is not redeemable for cash.

A Participant is limited to one prize from AFP from this Contest and any other simultaneous AFP Contest.  Employees, contractors, subcontractors, agents, board members, and any other individuals otherwise compensated by AFP or any of its affiliates or subsidiaries are not eligible to participate in this AFP Contest.  In no event will Sponsors be liable for more prizes than outlined in the Contest Details.  Prizes are non-transferable and non-negotiable.

Sponsor is not responsible for any problems, bugs, or malfunctions Participants encounter when participating in the Contest.

Contest Period: The Contest Period begins at 9:00AM EDT on September 28, 2012 and ends at 9:00PM EDT on October 17, 2012.

Publicity: Sponsor reserves the right to use for publicity purposes prior to, during, or after the Contest Period, in any media, the Participant’s name, likeness, and city name throughout the world, in perpetuity, without any compensation or prior review, unless specifically prohibited by law.

Taxes: It is the sole responsibility of the winning Participant to pay all federal, state, and local taxes in connection with the prize.

Privacy Policy: Participant membership information will be handled in compliance with AFP’s Privacy Policy at http://americansforprosperity.org/privacy-policy/ and Terms of Use Policy at http://americansforprosperity.org/terms-of-use/.

Limitation of Liability, Governing Law, and Venue: Participant agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sponsor from any loss, liability, damage, or costs, including court costs and legal fees, which result from the Participant’s involvement and participation in the Contest or Participant’s receipt or use of the prize.  In no event shall AFP be liable to Participant for special, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including without limitation, loss of use of profits, regardless of whether such damages are caused or allegedly caused by breach of contract, tort or otherwise (including negligent or willful act or omission, warranty, indemnity, or strict liability).  This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia without regard for conflict of laws doctrine.  Participants agree that any legal action arising in connection with the Contest, whether in tort, contract, or otherwise, shall be heard exclusively in the courts of the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Waiver of Jury: As a condition of participating in this Contest, each Participant hereby irrevocably and perpetually waives any right that Participant may have to a trial by jury in respect of any litigation directly or indirectly arising out of, under, or in connection with the Contest, any document or agreement entered into in connection with the Contest, any prize available through the Contest, and any of the transactions contemplated related to the Contest.

Termination: Sponsor reserves the right, in their sole discretion, to cancel, modify, or suspend the Contest at any time.

The Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Americans for Prosperity Foundation, Michigan State, Michigan, the Michigan State University Board of Trustees or the Regents of the University of Michigan.
