What You Missed @ Right Online!
In case you missed the live stream of Right Online, here is a quick recap.
We had an amazing time hearing from some of the leading voices for freedom online today. It would be impossible to do an entire recap of the weekend, but here is a list of some of the people we were impressed by and suggest you find out more about:
Scott Rasmussen – One of his insights was polling suggests the public is fed up with politicians, both on the left and right, so keep up the pressure on them even if your team wins the election. Twitter: @RasmussenPoll
Mattias Shapiro – His rise to fame included 10,000 pennies video, which went viral on youtube. Statistics and infographs are powerful tools, it is important to take them with a huge grain of salt. His website has wonderful content. Twitter: @politicalmath
Steven Crowder – In a breakout session on how to prepare for interviews, Steven was excellent. Use humor to disarm your opponent when necessary, and the BCA method. Start with your B material, follow with your C material, and then your A, come out swinging during interviews. Twitter: @scrowder
Bill Whittle and Larry O’Connor – Both of these men spoke on the topic of How Culture Drives Politics. Both were funny and informative, with their take away being culture does matter. It provides a template for social proof, which can be powerful. Twitter: @billwhittle and @larryoconnor.
What did we learn? Take action in any way you can. Encourage others to do the same. Be passionate in doing both of those. Blogs, podcasts, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and Pinterest are all mediums at your disposal, and they are accessible to the masses. If you are relentless and passionate, good things can and will happen!
