A special committee hearing on ‘Common Core’ is scheduled to be held on Tuesday, July 16th from 9-11 a.m. in room 521 of the House Office Building.

This meeting will bring in testimony on the history and timeline of common core and then the MDE will testify on how it is being implemented in Michigan. We are hoping to get one person from our perspective time to testify.
Subsequent meetings are as follows:

Aug. 14 -10 a.m. to noon
Aug. 28 -10 a.m. to noon
Public testimony has not been announced.
