Testify Against the Gas Tax Wednesday!

Governor O’Malley’s 6% sales tax is moving forward with a public committee hearing, the first step for any bill to become law on Wednesday March 14th.

The Senate Budget and Taxation Committee already approved an income tax hike in the Governor’s budget. The bill will move to a full Senate vote.

Americans for Prosperity Maryland is hosting a press conference prior to the public hearings. Will you attend and keep the pressure on Governor O’Malley and Annapolis to abandon this damaging middle class tax hike?

What: Press Conference and Public Testimony in Committee

When: Noon on Wednesday March 14th

Where: Meet at Lawyers Mall in Annapolis

What to bring: Bring your personal story of how the gas tax will negatively affect you. There will be materials to make your own sign for the press conference if you do not have one.
