30,000 Americans Plead With President Obama to Stop His Failing Economic Policies
AFP Delivers Petitions to Stop Big-Government Spending
Arlington, VA- Today Americans for Prosperity (AFP) released 30,000 names of individuals that have been collected over the past three months throughout the country who are petitioning the President to stop his failing agenda. The petitions were signed during AFP’s “Obama’s Failing Agenda” bus tour which has been to over 400 cities in 31 states since August.
“These are real families that are hurting because of the disastrous results of Obama’s big-government economic policies,” said AFP President Tim Phillips. “More than 30,000 people believe that this President’s Agenda is failing America and we stand with them to demand responsible spending and lower taxes.”

Over the past year AFP activists have made over 13 million phone calls throughout the country, each using the advanced “Freedom Phones” technology. Activists have also knocked on more than 16,000 doors since March.
The bus tour focuses on numerous areas where President Obama’s agenda is failing, including the vast health care takeover that raises taxes by over $500 billion, irresponsible spending on green energy scams like Solyndra, the $16 trillion national debt and stubbornly high unemployment rate.
