AFP Testimony on Medicaid Expansion in Louisiana

April 24, 2013

Today, AFP’s Vice President of State Operations, Teresa Oelke, testified on behalf of AFP’s 17,000 activists in Louisiana, urging the Louisiana House of Representatives Committee on Health and Welfare to not expand Medicaid in Louisiana. Medicaid is a broken, costly entitlement program in need of reform, not expansion. Adding 450,000 Louisiana residents to this system is not the reform this program needs.
