“Americans for Prosperity has been fighting ObamaCare on all fronts for several years now, and it’s time to make sure Louisiana does not join the list of states that continue to comply with the ObamaCare calamity,” said AFP-Louisiana State Director Phillip Joffrion. “Senator Landrieu is now pushing for this expansion, but she cast a decisive vote for ObamaCare and now Louisiana is learning how painful it really is. Medicaid is a broken system that offers poor quality care to those who often need it most, and the promise of new funding from the federal government is as close to being broken as the next Washington budget crisis. Expanding Medicaid instead of reforming it and dumping more people onto this system is, in a word, madness.”
