Coalition to Congress: End Preventable Waste!

With budget talks continuing through the holiday season, Capitol Hill is clearly having difficulty in getting federal spending under control. Although much more needs to be done, holding federal agencies accountable for preventable wasteful spending is an important first step.

Americans for Prosperity is proud to lead a coalition of 13 organizations in calling on Congress to create incentives for federal agencies to reduce improper payments rates. Today, the coalition released the following letter of support for legislation recently introduced by Congressman Jack Kingston of Georgia, the Eliminate Preventable Waste Act.
