AFP Joins Coalition Urging the Senate to Overturn IRS Rule on Health Insurance Exchange Tax
Today, AFP joined 45 coalition partners calling on the Senate to overturn the IRS rule that is attempting to extend the health insurance exchange tax to businesses in states that have refused to set up the President’s exchanges, even though the statute clearly states they may not be taxed.
AFP thanks Senator Ron Johnson for his leadership on this issue and his introduction of S.J. Res. 48, a resolution of disapproval to stop the IRS from enacting this steep new tax on businesses.
