AFP Leads Broad Coalition against New Energy Subsidies

Today, AFP and a broad coalition of conservative action groups released a letter opposing the NAT GAS Act (H.R. 1380), a bill that attempts to use the tax code to pick winners and losers by propping by the natural gas vehicle industry. Government is charged with providing an even playing field that allows market participants to advance ideas and test one technology against another. When Congress colludes with industry lobbyists to advance parochial interests capital investment is distorted and taxpayers are left to carry a larger burden. View the letter below.
