House Votes to Stop Job-Crushing FCC Internet Regs
The House voted 240-179 to overturn the FCC’s job-crushing Internet regulations.
Republicans who voted to rubber-stamp the FCC’s power grab (along with 177 Democrats) were Dave Reichert of Washington and Scott Rigell of Virginia. They should be ashamed. Even if they believe in net neutrality, they should not let Obama’s regulators write the law in an end-run around Congress.
The six Democrats who voted to stand up to the FCC and the legitimate legislative process (along with 234 Republicans) were:
Bishop (GA) D GA, Boren D OK, Peterson D MN, Schrader D OR, Scott, David D GA, Thompson (MS) D MS. They deserve our thanks.
Tell the Senate to stop the FCC too! Take action here.
