Upcoming Meetings: April 8 in Wichita

March 27, 2013

Please join the Wichita Area Chapter for their regular monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Monday, April 8 at Spangles Restaurant downtown (Kellogg & Broadway, Wichita). The only cost of the meeting is the price of your meal.

The topic of this month’s meeting will be “The Roots of American Liberty,” a presentation by Michael Pochek. Pochek’s presentation will be based on the book “We Still Hold These Truths,” by Matthew Spalding of The Heritage Foundation.

Suggested reading prior to the meeting is Chapter 1 of the book. Click here for book details.  A study guide for the book is also available online.

The presentation will be followed by a group discussion. For more information, please contact Wichita AFP volunteer coordinator John Todd at john@johntodd.net or AFP-Kansas Grassroots Coordinator Susan Estes at sestes@afphq.org.

The Kansas Chapter of Americans for Prosperity (AFP-KS) is committed to advancing every Kansan’s right to economic freedom and opportunity. AFP-KS is an organization of grassroots citizen leaders who engage in spreading the message of fiscally responsible government, free market ideals and regulatory restraint to policymakers on the local and state levels.
