Watch Dr. Barry Poulson Discuss KPERS

May 03, 2011

On April 27th AFP Kansas hosted a policy luncheon in which Dr. Barry Poulson and Utah State Senator Dan Liljenquist discussed the status of the Kansas Public Employees Retirement System (KPERS).

The two speakers focused on identifying the true unfunded liability of KPERS ($9.3 billion) and reform driven ideas including enrolling new public employee hires to a defined contribution plan.

The speeches given by the two speakers are broken down into three videos and are available on the AFP Kansas YouTube page.
