Tuesday, April 8
Join us at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 8 in the meeting room of the Wichita Public Library’s Central Branch (223 S. Main). Citizen activist and blogger Bob Weeks will present “How to use Facebook for activism.” If you would like instruction on online activism, please bring your laptop. (Please be advised, a library card is necessary to access the library’s Wi-Fi system.)
Monday, April 14
We’ll be meeting at 7 p.m. Monday, April 14 at Spangles Restaurant downtown (612 S. Broadway) to view portions of John Stossel’s ‘Stossel in the Classroom’ videos. This week we’ll focus on “The Power of Markets vs. the Failure of Regulation.” A group discussion will follow the video presentation.
Tuesday, April 22
AFP-Kansas Deputy State Director Rodger Woods will speak to the group at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 22 again at Spangles Restaurant downtown (612 S. Broadway). Rodger will present “Navigating the Legislature,” and his presentation will be followed by Q&A and group discussion.
