Topeka – Americans for Prosperity – Kansas State Director Jeff Glendening released the following statement in reaction to the first report on ObamaCare enrollment from the US Department of Health and Human Services:
“Given the difficulties with the Healthcare.gov website, it should come as no surprise that there are also questions about the numbers released today by the Health and Human Services Department. The enrollment figures rely on questionable signups among other problems, and even with these inflated numbers, the Obama Administration doesn’t even come close to its enrollment goals for November.”
“Additionally, the numbers of people who successfully enrolled in ObamaCare are far fewer than those whose policies have been cancelled in recent weeks. Kathleen Sebelius may be in Washington, D.C., now, but her bad policies are continuing to hurt Kansans. It’s time for Congress to step up and take action to repeal this broken law.”
