Hot Air Tour Update: Sen. Graham Not Supporting Cap-and-Trade at This Point

This morning we wrapped up three days of exciting and successful events in South Carolina as part of our Hot Air Tour to let Senator Lindsey Graham hear from thousands of his constituents on the issue of cap-and-trade. As you may know, Senator Graham joined Massachusetts Senator John Kerry in an op ed supporting the job killing, tax increasing cap-and-trade policies. So, we brought our AFP Hot Air Tour to the Palmetto State for events in Spartanburg, Columbia, Mt. Pleasant/Charleston and finally Myrtle Beach this morning.

A Grandview City Councilman, Mike Ferguson, shared his response to an anonymous e-mailer regarding a smoking ban. He is absolutely correct in his response. It's too bad St. Louis area voters and elected officials don't get it!

AUSTIN – The Texas chapter of Americans for Prosperity had harsh words today for Senator and chairman of the Environment and Public Works Committee Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) after she pulled a fast one on the American people on Thursday by passing the Cap-and-Trade bill out of committee in spite of the opposition and boycott of all seven of the committee’s Republicans.
