Helland: Focus on businesses that create careers for Iowans
Iowa Representative Erik Helland wants our state government to focus on businesses that create careers for Iowans.
The Iowa House passed the first bill of the session, and the bills primary purpose is protect Iowa jobs. When out visiting with Iowans and Iowa employers we heard a common theme. The state government has grown too large. Our laws and regulations make it too difficult to build and grow businesses that provide jobs.
