Townhall to Educate Public on Washington’s Spending Crisis and Pressure Congress to Practice Fiscal Restraint

Sioux City, IA – Americans for Prosperity – Iowa will hosting a townhall this Friday with Congressman Steve King to educate the public about Washington’s spending crisis and send a message to lawmakers: no more empty promises. The townhall is part of a nationwide effort leading up to Congress’s next vote on the Continuing Resolution in January. Americans for Prosperity activists are telling Congress to stick to the spending levels enacted in the 2011 Budget Control Act.
