Americans for Prosperity – Indiana has opposed the government takeover of our health care since President Obama first introduced his health care plan back in 2009. In addition, we recognize the burden placed on employers by the recent HHS mandates and see this action as just one more overstep by the federal government.
After the rally, save the date for a Hands Off My Health Care Forum with Attorney General Greg Zoeller on Wednesday, June 20th. Come hear Indiana’s Attorney General speak about the upcoming Supreme Court decision and the impact it will have on the President’s health care law.
What: Hands Off My Health Care Forum
When: Wednesday, June 20 at 5:30 pm
Where: Renaissance Indianapolis North Hotel (11925 N Meridian Street, Carmel)
Americans for Prosperity – Indiana firmly believes that one of the founding principles of American governance is that the sovereign States created a federal government with limited and enumerated powers. The U.S. Constitution expounds those limits and any action taken by the Federal Government in excess of those powers is a violation of the liberty of the States and their citizens.
AFP was the lead organization behind the “Hands Off My Health Care” rallies which took place in our state nearly three years ago. AFP is still fighting against the President’s Health Care Law and seeks its eventual repeal.
