New $700,000 ad: Tell Joe Donnelly We Need Patient-Centered Reform
Americans for Prosperity – Indiana (AFP-IN) is about to launch a new statewide TV ad. The ad is part of their ongoing efforts to put grassroots pressure on Congressman Joe Donnelly to repeal the President’s health care law and support patient-centered reform.
“Congressman Joe Donnelly’s votes for government-run health care has increased taxes and healthcare costs, takes money from Medicare, and gives bureaucrats the power over important personal health decisions,” stated Chase Downham, Indiana State Director of Americans for Prosperity.
The 30 second commercial will run in all Indiana media markets. The cost of the two week advertisement is $700,000.
“Hoosiers want real health care reform, not more bureaucracy and higher taxes. Joe Donnelly should work to repeal the so-called “Affordable Care Act” and support patient-centered reform.”
In addition to the TV ad, AFP-Indiana’s staff will organize the group’s 27,000 activists to make phone calls and knock on doors in order to share this information with their fellow Hoosiers. Already, AFP-Indiana activists have made nearly 40,000 phone calls. There is also the AFP-Indiana sponsored website www.HowsThatCupofJoe.com which highlights Congressman Donnelly’s record on health care reform and other important issues.
