Downham: SB 1 Encourages Economic Growth

January 22, 2014

AFP Indiana State Director Chase Downham released a letter of support today encouraging the Tax and Fiscal Policy Committee to pass Senate Bill 1, which would reform Indiana’s business personal property tax as well as reduce the corporate income tax rate.

“This proposal encourages economic growth, recognizes local concerns, and protects taxpayers”, said Downham

AFP Indiana has named reforming the business personal property tax a 2014 Policy Priority, and encourages Hoosiers to take action in support of this reform.
