AFP-Indiana Continues Direct Mail Effort
Americans for Prosperity – Indiana (AFP-IN) continues its series of mailers encouraging Hoosiers to contact Congressman Joe Donnelly and pressure him to reject President Obama’s failing policies.
AFP-Indiana will spend nearly $1 million total in this effort to put grassroots pressure on Congressman Donnelly.
“Our country’s growing debt cannot be ignored any longer,” stated Chase Downham, Indiana State Director of Americans for Prosperity. “Congressman Donnelly needs to take a stand for Hoosiers and economic freedom, not the big government policies of President Obama.”
Congressman Joe Donnelly supported the $1 trillion government stimulus and the $2 trillion health care law.
Americans for Prosperity has already spent $700,000 on television ads urging Congressman Donnelly to reevaluate his policies in Washington. In addition to these paid efforts, AFP-Indiana’s staff will organize the group’s nearly 30,000 activists to make phone calls and knock on doors in order to share this information with their fellow Hoosiers and to put grassroots pressure on Donnelly. Already, AFP-Indiana activists have made over 100,000 phone calls.
Americans for Prosperity does not expressly advocate for the success or defeat of any candidate for public office.
