Cut Spending Now Tour Comes to Evansville Tomorrow
Grassroots Tour will Educate and Engage Citizens on Excessive Government Spending
EVANSVILLE, IN The premier grassroots mobilizing group, Americans for Prosperity, will be in Indiana for its Cut Spending Now Tour on Friday, October 14th and move across the country before arriving on November 5th at the national Defending the American Dream Summit in Washington, DC. The tour serves as a call to action for AFPs 1.8 million activists and Americans from all walks of life to demand that Congress finally cut spending while bringing about fundamental budget reforms that reduce the size of government. The tour also serves to remind President Obama that picking the economys winners and losers is one reason unemployment is so high and our economy so weak under this administration.
As the new State Director of AFP-Indiana, it is my priority to ensure Hoosiers are active and engaged in their government. The Cut Spending Now Tour serves as a reminder that excessive government spending has economic consequences for Hoosiers and all Americans higher cost of living and higher taxes, said AFP Indiana State Director Chase Downham.
President of AFP, Tim Phillips added:
While President Obama continues to push his second Stimulus boondoggle Americans continue to look for jobs and the economy continues to flounder. It is up to Americans to make sure Congress and the debt super committee rein in the presidents spending habits.
We encourage you to join us at the Cut Spending Now Tour stop in Indiana:
