Our Experience at the Fort Wayne Freedom Rally

April 04, 2012

Last Saturday, over 200 activists attended the Fort Wayne Freedom Rally. The two hour event focused on freedom in religion, press and speech. There was also a good deal of discussion on economic freedom.

In addition to remarks from Jenny Beth Martin of Tea Party Patriots, Indiana State Senators David Long and Dennis Kruse as well as radio show host Peter Heck were in attendance to share a few thoughts. AFP-Indiana spoke on the importance of economic freedom.

Indeed, our country’s embrace of economic freedom is a big reason for our unprecedented prosperity. Limited government, free market principles allow individuals to rise to their fullest potential. When government becomes too large or tries to pick winners and losers in the market, the result is more debt and a decline in prosperity for everyone.
