Oppose Mass Transit Taxes

December 01, 2013

Some are encouraging the General Assembly to permit a public referendum to decide the future of a proposed Central Indiana Mass Transit Initiative.

The Indianapolis mass transit plan includes a county option income tax increase for Hamilton and Marion County residents. Moreover, the plan, which is estimated to cost at least $1.3 billion, relies heavily on government subsidies and a local bond issue.

Help Central Indiana taxpayers oppose this costly plan to raise taxes!
