Tim Phillips, president of Americans for Prosperity Foundation, made the following statement in response to criticisms of speakers at AFP Foundation’s recent Defending the American Dream Summit.

Funding of the capital bill, which is necessary to create jobs, repair our roads and bridges, and stimulate the economy, is in jeopardy because local governments are not signing on to video gaming as predicted. Lawmakers from both parties are scratching their heads saying things like "the money has to come from somewhere." What they fail to understand, and what makes taxpayers cringe, is the fact that we've already paid for it!

I was notified by one of our activist, who resides in the Highland Park area, that supporters of the liberal group, North Shore Women for Peace, and supporters of Obama's government-run healthcare agenda erected a sign in downtown Highland Park's public "pocket park," a location requiring a one-month permit.
