Next Wednesday, February 6, marks President Ronald Reagan’s 102nd birthday. In honor of this occasion, AFP-IL will host a series of events around the state featuring a special guest, Peggy Grande. Peggy served as President Reagan’s personal assistant for a decade during his post-presidency years.

Arguably Illinois’ favorite son, no president has ever been a greater champion of free markets & economic freedom than Ronald Reagan.

Reagan wisely understood that, “prosperity can come about only when the farmer and the businessman enjoy economic freedom.” We couldn’t agree more.
