Tax Freedom Day Comes 4 Days Later in 2012
Due to increased collections of income and corporate taxes, Tax Freedom day will arrive on April 17, 2012, four days later than the previous year.
From the Tax Foundation report: That means Americans will work 107 days into the year, from January 1 to April 17, to earn enough money to pay this year’s combined 29.2% federal, state, and local tax bill.
