AFP-IL activists to make their voices heard at Obama economy speech

July 22, 2013

It’s not enough that he promotes in Washington the very policies that perpetuate our so-called “recovery.” Now President Obama is coming to Knox College on Wednesday to pat us on the head and tell us how everything is just fine.

Are you going to let him get away with it?

Here in the president’s home state, unemployment stands at 9.2%, the second-worst in the nation.  Overspending by an ever-increasing federal government is not the answer!  As we’ve seen with Obamacare, big-government solutions aren’t what America needs.

Join fellow AFP activists & others on Wednesday to show the president that the path to economic freedom doesn’t include more government & higher taxes!

WHEN:             Wednesday, July 24th
TIME;                Meet at 9:30AM; Speech at 1PM
WHERE:          Corner of Cherry St. & N. Berrien St., Galesburg on the campus of Knox                              College
