Parents Gathering To Learn & Sound Off At Chatham School Choice Town Hall
- Screening of documentary film and discussion with Rep. Ron Stephens -
A lively discussion about School Choice and the Georgia General Assembly action related to Charter Schools takes front and center at an upcoming town hall and screening of the documentary film, “Making The Grade In GA: Educational Freedom & Justice for All”. The evening will feature State Representative Ron Stephens.
The event will be co-hosted by Americans For Prosperity Foundation GA, the Savannah Tea Party and Representative Stephens. Rep. Stephens is an outspoken supporter of the HR 1162 Charter School Constitutional Amendment that passed the Legislature this year.
The film and discussion will reveal the social and economic impact to students of Georgia’s failing educational system. It will focus on the many School Choice options available in Georgia and the arguments for and against each. The evening will provide a summary of where Georgia currently stands in education.
“This forum is a great opportunity for people to learn about the way forward for Georgia education. Parents should be able to direct education money for their child to the school of their choosing,” states AFPF-GA State Director Virginia Galloway.
The public and media are invited to attend this free event.
