ALERT! TELL SAXBY NO! Stand Against Tax Hikes - Contact Information

July 21, 2011 J

A group of Senators known as the “GANG OF 6” have been working on a plan concerning our national debt. These Senators include Republican Saxby Chambliss (GA), Republican Tom Coburn (OK), Republican Mike Crapo (ID).

This plan includes steps to slow the growth of Social Security payments, and it cuts $500 billion from Medicare. They also want to RAISE TAXES! Furthermore, McConnell and Reid are collaborating on a proposal that allows the President to raise the debt limit without a prior vote from Congress.

AFP Georgia activists must STAND AGAINST these outrageous plans! We must tell Senator Saxby Chambliss that he should not ignore the wishes of the vast majority of Georgians. Please visit Senator Chambliss’s nearest district offices TODAY, July 22 at NOON.

Senator Harry Reid is keeping the Senate in session over the weekend. There is no time to spare!

Tell Senator Chambliss:

1. We are opposed to the Gang of Six’s Plan.
2. We do not support raising taxes!
3. There should be no plan to raise the debt limit without a vote from Congress!

Please join together in sending lawmakers a message they cannot ignore.
