Atlanta – Americans For Prosperity Georgia is holding a training day at the Georgia State Capitol today from 8:30 AM until 1:30 PM. The meeting will take place in the AFP briefing room in Capitol Room 125 on the first floor.
Join Americans For Prosperity GA for a day of learning the step-by-step process of how to be a citizen watchdog for good government at the Capitol, get hands-on training with lobbyists during the live legislative session, hear up-to-the-minute policy watch briefings from lawmakers, have a great lunch AND participate in the stop common core press conference later in the day.
Legislation the group will take a position on includes Common Core, fractional-percentage SPLOST, civil forfeiture reform, school choice reforms, Affordable Care Act Non-Compliance Act and more.
