Consumer freedom is going mobile, says communications director Foster.
ATLANTA — The Georgia chapter of Americans for Prosperity, the nation’s foremost grassroots advocate for economic freedom, announced support for the Mobile BILD Act (HB 176) on Wednesday.
“As Georgia consumers ask for more informational freedom to take their data mobile, our regulatory system needs to keep pace,” said AFP-Georgia Communications Director Joel Foster. “Unnecessary government intrusion slows down the up-time for new tower builds and drives up the cost of adding infrastructure– cost that is passed on to the consumer. The Mobile BILD Act tackles these obstacles, and we hope it sees swift passage.”
The Mobile BILD Act (House Bill 176) passed the House Energy, Utilities and Telecommunications Committee on January 23 and the full House a few days later.
